Wannabe Verity fails to show off the X-Factor.

THE latest casualty of TV's talent show The X-Factor said she was a victim of the judges in-fighting rather than a lack of singing ability.

Verity Keays, a 50-year-old private singing coach from Grimsby, was the second person to be voted off the ITV1 show, leaving seven finalists to battle it out.

Her version of Bette Midler's Wind Beneath My Wings failed to impress the public and was one of the bottom two acts.

Judge Sharon Osbourne's casting vote put her out the show.
