Buyers must deposit one to three per cent of purchase price into an account and there's a 14-day inspection period for the buyer to carry out surveys and searches.
BUYING A HOME IN DENMARK ESTATE agents prepare a sales report, building and electricity surveys and an energy report before marketing the property. If there is no survey, sellers are responsible for defects for up to 20 years.
Offers are binding subject to a six-day cooling-off period but if buyers withdraw during this time they pay up to five per cent compensation to the sellers.
