Wako Pure Chemical Industries Releases Fully Automated Fecal Occult Blood Analyzer.

Tokyo, Japan, Feb 8, 2006 - (JCN) - Wako Pure Chemical Industries has launched a new fully automated fecal occult blood analyzer, FOBITWAKO, across Japan.

With its improved operability and promptness, the FOBITWAKO helps smoothly conduct fecal occult blood tests for hemorrhagic digestive diseases at large-scale hospitals. In particular, the new analyzer can simultaneously open a sampling cup and collect feces samples, as well as mixing reaction liquids in a contact-less fashion.

As a result, the analyzer reduces the risk of cross-contamination while alleviating the maintenance burden.

Godo Shusei, an Oenon Group company, offers a special reagent for the FOBITWAKO. Wako Pure Chemical Industries handles sales of both the analyzer and the reagent.
