 JOINS COMMUNITY AIR QUALITY TASK FORCE
 AZUSA, Calif., Sept. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- The Wynn Oil Company of Azusa, Calif., a manufacturer and marketer of automotive and truck specialty chemical products has announced the participation of their Director of Engineering, Mr. Marcel Vataru, in the community air quality task force.
 Dr. Mark S. Filowitz, the Vice President and General Manager of the Automotive-Industrial Division of Wynn Oil Company, U.S.A., stated "We are quite proud that Mr. Vataru has been invited to participate with this group of civic minded southern California business leaders who not only share a concern for our air quality, but also want the voice of the business community heard when clean air regulations are formulated."
 Mr. Vataru who is a graduate of U.C.L.A. with a degree in mechanical engineering, possesses an impressive background relating to vehicle exhaust emission composition, testing, and methods of reducing harmful emissions. His education, training, and experience in this field provides valuable technical expertise to the community air quality task force. His approach to the problem is a practical one, that of an engineer, but also one of a concerned businessman and concerned citizen with regard to regulations and air quality.
 Mr. Vataru stated "We, the community air quality task force, hope to provide a positive forum in providing the regulators with factual information in this difficult and technically complex area of cleaning up our air. We are not in a fight with anyone, we simply hope to propose technically sound solutions."
 Mr. Vataru has been the Director of Engineering for Wynn's since 1985. Prior to that he held management positions with Setco-McCormick and American products companies. He resides in Los Angeles.
 Wynn's is a fifty-three year old company which began in Azusa, California and now has its international headquarters in Orange, California. Wynn's is a publicly held company traded on the New York Stock Exchange, which manufactures a wide variety of automotive and specialty chemical products.
