 ORANGE, Calif., Aug. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Wynn's International Inc. (NYSE: WN) announced today that Robert H. Hood Jr. has been elected to the company's board of directors effective Aug. 4, 1993. Hood joins Barton Beek, another new member elected to the board at the company's annual meeting in May. The number of board members has been increased from seven to eight.
 Hood, 61, is president of Douglas Aircraft Co., a subsidiary of McDonnell Douglas Corp. (MDC). Hood is responsible for overseeing all commercial business activity at the Long Beach, Calif., facility of Douglas. He has served in this capacity since May 1989. Prior to becoming president of Douglas Aircraft Co., Hood served in several senior management positions with MDC, including president of McDonnell Douglas Missile System Co.
 Prior to joining MDC, Hood held positions with Aluminum Company of America (1957-1963), Republic Aviation Corp. (1963-1965), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Hood is a native of Pennsylvania. He holds a bachelor degree in business administration and a bachelor degree in industrial engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
 Beek, 69, is a partner of the law firm of O'Melveny & Myers and has been with the firm since 1955. Beek has extensive experience in all types of corporate, joint venture and limited partnership transactions, including equity and debt offerings, and acquisition, merger and business reorganization transactions.
 Beek graduated from Loyola Law School, LL.B, 1955; Stanford University, master of business administration degree, 1948; and California Institute of Technology, bachelor of science degree, 1944. He has served as a lecturer and panelist for the New York Law Journal, Practising Law Institute, American Law Institute/ABA, California Continuing Education of the Bar, and Los Angeles Bar Association. Beek also is a director of JMC Group Inc.
