 WYLE LABORATORIES INTRODUCES 'FORMULA 4 RESELLER SUCCESS' PROGRAM
 IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The Electronics Marketing Group of Wyle Laboratories (NYSE: WYL) has created an innovative new program for its computer systems and peripherals resellers designed to enable them to rapidly acquire marketing resources at cost savings of up to 30 percent.
 Wyle's "Formula 4 Reseller Success" program includes a complete set of modular marketing tools. For example, resellers will have the ability to generate a complete, camera ready advertisement or direct mail piece, without any set-up or design costs, expenses that frequently exceed 30 percent of a marketing campaign's costs.
 Ralph Ozorkiewicz, group president, said: "Our strategy is to help make resellers more profitable by reducing the cost and start-up time of their marketing programs. We see multiple benefits from this program. More effective marketing will accelerate the reseller's sales cycle, and reduced marketing expenses can flow directly to their bottom line. With this support, resellers also have the ability to invest more resources in their areas of unique added value."
 The program is supported with "Business Growth Funds" that qualified resellers will accrue as a percentage of purchases. Resellers then have the opportunity to use these funds to obtain a variety of useful services such as training, teleprospecting, use of demo equipment, trade show and seminar support. This process has been streamlined to minimize red tape and facilitate use by resellers.
 More than 40 resellers are already participating in the "Formula 4 Reseller Success" program, which is integrated with marketing programs supported by such key Wyle system suppliers as Digital Equipment, Intel, NCR and Wyse. These companies provide support to the program in a variety of ways.
 Josh Napua, executive vice president for Computer Products, noted: "Resellers frequently lack the staffing and the financial resources to do the necessary lead generation. Our program, which is unique in its simplicity, addresses that need in a very effective way. Everyone involved -- resellers, suppliers and Wyle -- is expected to benefit from more effective marketing and increased sales."
