WXYZ-TV/CHANNEL 7 TO AIR 'METRO' HOSTED BY BILL BONDS, FEB. 26

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- WXYZ-TV/Channel 7 will broadcast its locally produced quarterly prime-time special, "Metro," on Friday, Feb. 26, from 9:30-10 p.m. Featured in this edition of "Metro," WXYZ-TV/Channel 7 reporter and "Metro" host Bill Bonds will interview Tom Arnold, star of the hit ABC comedy, "The Jackie Thomas Show." "Metro" also includes a feature report by Channel 7's Erik Smith on the television "supermarket" for TV programming.
Arnold has the distinction of being the husband of America's queen of comedy, Roseanne Barr Arnold. In the second segment of "Metro," WXYZ-TV/Channel 7 reporter Smith explores a side of television rarely seen by the viewing public. , glamour and celebrities selling their new shows. Smith offers an insider's look at this high-stakes game.
Under the direction of Mimmi Mathis, director of Program Development, "Metro" is produced by Peabody and Emmy award winner Christine Sloat, who also produces WXYZ-TV/Channel 7's successful "Bonds On..." series. This edition of "Metro" is the 26th special produced locally by WXYZ-TV/Channel 7 in the last three years.
