Hope Christian High School and King's Montessori School clash for the premier 17-and-Under crown in the 18th Women's Volleyball League (WVL) organized by the Best Center and presented by Milo on Sunday at the Xavier School gym.
Hope Christian School demolished Holy Family School, 25-8, 25-12, over the weekend to earn the right to face King's Montessori, which bumped St. Scholastica's College, 25-21, 25-21, out of the championship picture.
Their game is set at 11:15 am, after the 10:15 clash between St. James Academy and La Consolation College for the 17-and -Under Developmental Division crown.
St. James turned back Espiritu Santo Parochial School, 25-16, 25-22, while La Consolation dropped Colegio de Sta. Rosa-Makati, 25-16, 25-18, in the semifinals.
Colegio San Agustin-Makati, meanwhile, sent two teams in the finals of the 13-and-Under Developmental and 13-and-Under Competitive Divisions.
CSA first defeated St. Pedro Poveda College, 25-11, 25-16, for the right to face Escuela de Sophia of Caloocan, which beat St. Paul-Pasig, 25-16, 25-16, in the 13-and-under Developmental Division final.
CSA then made short work of Aurora A. Quezon Elementary School, 25-6, 25-13, for the right to face Jubillee Christian Academy, which outlasted St. Scholastica's College-Manila, 25-16, 24-25, 25-10, for the 13-and-under Competitive Division crown.
