WTFu: Newbie Ian Ignacio into martial arts and acting.

Ian Ignacio was training for martial arts when he got interested in show business (may art naman din daw kasi sa showbiz!). It was his father, character actor Levi Ignacio, who inspired him to make a go for it. (Parang you inspire me too, bro!)

Kaya pumasok ako ng Dulaang UP under Sir Tony Mabesa," Ian recalled. (Train mo rin ako, bro!)

Ian has done several movie and television assignments. His latest is "Mystified." (Ay, kaya ko maging Mystica for you!)

Given opportunity to choose a project, he wants to be able to use martial arts skills in playing a role.

"Dream project ko, comedy-action-romance movie. I love comedy because laughter touches the soul. 'Yung romance, kailangan 'yan." (Kaya ko ibigay 'yung comedy and romance, bro!)

Asked if he can do sexy films, he expressed willingness but with limitations.

"Kaya naman mga love scenes, pero frontal? Hmmm. Sa entablado siguro kaya. Kasi walang evidence duon. No recording. (Kailan next play mo, bro?)

He recently joined Enchong Dee, Tanner Mata, and Daniel Matsunaga in a daring fashion show for an underwear brand.

It's a stage, it's still a performance." (Performance level din ako lagi, bro!)

The 28-year-old athlete who recently appeared on WTFu on YouTube, hopes to stay long in show business like his dad.

Easy come, easy go sa showbiz eh." (Ay, ako bahala mag-alaga sayo, bro!)
