 WTC PRODUCTS SUPPORT U.N. PEACEKEEPING MISSION IN CAMBODIA
 MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., July 21 /PRNewswire/ -- WTC Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: WTCO) announced today that the Canadian government has purchased water purification units for use in the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in Cambodia. WTC's water purification devices utilize the company's PentaPure(TM) resin technology which kills waterborne bacteria, viruses and protozoa, leaving it microbiologically pure for drinking.
 Sheldon A. Vermes, WTC's chairman and CEO, stated, "Water conditions in Cambodia are unsafe in many regions. The life-threatening effects of cholera, dysentery and other waterborne diseases are commonplace." He added, "We are pleased to have served in this effort."
 WTC Industries, Inc. (formerly Water Technologies Corporation) holds the exclusive rights to manufacture and market the patented PentaPure resin worldwide. The company supplies water purification devices for consumer, industrial, and OEM applications.
