 WORLDWIDE LUXURY HOTELIER CHOOSES NYT CUSTOM PUBLISHING
 TO PUBLISH ITS INTERNATIONAL MAGAZINE
 NEW YORK, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- NYT Custom Publishing, a division of The New York Times Company (AMEX: NYT), today announced it has entered into an agreement with the Four Seasons Hotels to create, produce and sell advertising in the international Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Magazine. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
 The Toronto-based Four Seasons Hotels owns 26 luxury hotels and resorts in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe and Japan. The Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Magazine is placed in every guest room throughout the chain.
 NYT Custom Publishing was formed in April 1992 as a business combining the custom publishing resources of The New York Times and the two divisions of the Company's Magazine Group: Women's Magazines and Sports/Leisure Magazines.
 The Company's capabilities are utilized in a variety of custom- publishing projects, including magazines and "one-shot publications" for customers, association magazines, sports and event programs and special supplements and advertorials.
 The New York Times Company operates newspapers, including 31 Regional Newspapers throughout the country, 18 magazines and additional specialty publications, five television stations and two radio stations. The Company also has interests in two Canadian newsprint mills and a supercalendered mill in Madison, Maine.
