WORLD TRADE CENTERS ASSOCIATION AND GALE RESEARCH TEAM UP
 TO CREATE WORLD BUSINESS DIRECTORY
MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- The World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) and Gale Research Inc., Detroit, just announced the publication of the most comprehensive directory of international trade ever assembled. WTCA World Business Directory provides information on more than 100,000 firms, many of which are affiliated with World Trade Centers.
"We were very pleased to cooperate with Gale on this project," said WTCA President Buy F. Tozzoli. "Our association is a fertile worldwide source of directory listings, and Gale is one of the world's most experienced publishers of directories."
Designed to help businesses evaluate new markets and identify potential trading partners, the four-volume directory provides key officer names and phone numbers, sales and employment figures as well as other company information. The first three volumes are organized by world region, while the fourth volume provides an alphabetical index by company name, an index of companies listed by major business activity, and finally, an index of companies organized by specific product.
The "WTCA World Business Directory" ($395) is published by Gale Research and can be ordered by calling the Minnesota World Trade Center Corporation at 612-297-1580.
The WTCA was established in 1970 to stimulate international business by assisting in the development of World Trade Centers and inter-trade center programs. It now encompasses 241 members in 231 cities and 63 countries.
The Minnesota World Trade Center is a member of the WTCA, providing local members with contacts, information, education and assistance with business travel through its network of sister trade centers worldwide.
Founded in 1952, Detroit-based Gale Research Inc. is North America's leading reference publisher. Gale and its subsidiaries -- The Taft Group, St. James Press, and Visible Ink Press -- serve the information needs of the world's libraries, businesses, and general readers in print on-line, and on CD-ROM.
