WORKSHOP ON CABLE TELEVISION FOR NON-PROFIT AND CULTURAL GROUPS

 TRENTON, N.J., Feb. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- The Cultural Subcommittee of the Cable Television Network of New Jersey (CTN) is sponsoring a one day interactive workshop entitled "Lights! Camera! Action! The CTN Community Service Workshop Series on Cable Television for Your Organization" on Saturday, March 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The workshop will be held at Brookdale Community College.
 The seminar is targeted for representatives of non-profit organizations. The series will familiarize participants with video production and the use of cable television programming for effective promotion of organizations and events. Participants will also get hands-on experience with video production, and the production of public service announcements.
 Topics include: "How to Write a PSA/Scriptwriting," "What About Community Access," "CTN...the who, what, when, where, and why of Community Service Programming on CTN," "How to be a Host and Love It/How to be a Great Guest and Make it Work," "Studio Production," and the "Essentials of Field Production."
 The workshop site is accessible to the handicapped. Sign language interpreters for the hearing impaired will be available with advance notice.
 Brookdale Community College is located at 765 Newman Springs Road in Lincroft, N.J. Registration is required by March 19, with a nominal fee which includes morning refreshments, lunch and informative cable television resource packet and workbooks.
