WORKERS' COMPENSATION MANAGED CARE EXPANSION: MANAGED CARE ALLIANCE ANNOUNCES AGREEMENT WITH A&P NEW JERSEY METRO DIVISION

 PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The Managed Care Alliance (TMCA), a Malvern, Pa., workers' compensation care management organization, today announced an agreement with The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, Inc. (A&P) to expand its successful workers' compensation care management system throughout the A&P New Jersey Metro Division.
 TMCA presently serves the Super Fresh Pennsylvania Division, a subsidiary of A&P.
 Peter Nesbitt, president of TMCA, a three-year old company, states that the care management system installed at Super Fresh and other accounts has appeal to self-insured clients because, "We ensure quality care while dramatically lowering losses and workers' compensation costs."
 TMCA manages workers' compensation claims with medical professionals who have the expertise and training needed to control medical care and close claims. TMCA provides services in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Delaware.
