      WORK RECOVERY INC. SIGNS GENERAL MOTORS SERVICE CONTRACT
    TUCSON, Ariz., June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Work Recovery Inc. (WRI) (NASDAQ: WORK) a Tucson-based provider of advanced rehabilitation technology and a national network of testing clinics for the industrially injured, announced today its wholly owned subsidiary, Work Recovery Centres of Hamilton, Ontario, has negotiated a service contract with General Motors Canada to provide functional capacity testing and other rehabilitation services to GM's industrially injured workers.  At a meeting on June 10, 1992, at the GM plant in St. Catherine's, Ontario, John Banks, WRI's director of Research and Development, presented to more than 100 employers, physicians and rehabilitation specialists who had been invited to a seminar at GM regarding functional capacities testing using the ERGOS(TM) Work Simulator.
    WRI also announced that after an extensive review, the Canadian National Railway (CNR) has recommended the use of the ERGOS Work Simulator for functional capacity testing with its industrially injured workers.  CNR will refer its workers to facilities currently using the ERGOS Work Simulator and has encouraged WRI to install ERGOS in a number of other cities and provinces in Canada.  WRI is currently negotiating with an investor/physician group to develop a center in Montreal, to help service CNR referrals.
