The Sunday School Anniversary on Sunday was led by Mrs Elaine Hale, opening with an introit of Jesus Stand Among Us. The first lesson was taken from Genesis chapter 22 verses 1 to 14; the 2nd lesson read by Mr Robert Bray was from Luke chapter 3 verses 1 to 21. Elaine's granddaughter Hannah sang two beautiful solos and her friend Evie played a lovely solo piece on the piano and also accompanied Hannah. Elaine read out childhood memories of members and past members and also two others gave there thoughts of how they remembered Sunday school when they were children and growing up. Lunch was served after the service prepared by the ladies. The pianist for the hymns was Mrs Sylvia Jordan.

|Morning service at the Methodist Church was led by Dr Roy Squires and the organist was Nigel Morris. Refreshments were served.
