WOLVES TO RUN INTER SILVA SNAG; FOOTBALL SPY; THE ORIGINAL GOSSIP COLUMN.

Byline: JAMES NURSEY

WOLVES' hopes of finally luring Marco Silva could be frustrated by Inter Milan.

Silva, 39, was tipped for Molineux this summer and is again in the frame following Walter Zenga's sacking.

But Mirror Sport understands from sources in Portugal that former Olympiakos boss Silva is a potential candidate at Inter should the Italians ditch underfire Frank De Boer (left).

Ambitious Silva is a client of super-agent Jorge Mendes and come highly recommended after coaching Sporting Lisbon for a season when he won the 2015 Portuguese Cup before guiding Olympiacos to the Greek title.

Wolves' new Chinese owners are also considering Silva's fellow Portuguese Vitor Pereira, the ex-Fenerbahce manager.
