WOLOHAN LUMBER CO. REPORTS MAY SALES UP 12.5 PERCENT SAGINAW, Mich., June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Wolohan Lumber Co.
(NASDAQ-NMS: WLHN) said its sales for May were up 12.5 percent to $38,157,000 from $33,931,000 for May 1991. Comparable-store sales were up 10.6 percent. Consumer (DIY) sales were up 19.9 percent from last May and professional contractor sales were up 2.5 percent.
Five-month sales were up 16.1 percent to $129,378,000 from $111,400,000 for the same period of 1991. Comparable-store sales were up 14.9 percent.
