the following:
A federal judge has opened up the door for all parties in the United Press International bankruptcy to seek new owners or investors in the 84-year-old news service.

Interested parties may contact the Guild office in New York at 212-869-9290 or via facsimile at 212-840-0687.
The Wire Service Guild is one of the members of the Unsecured Creditors Committee, which includes AT&T, GTE/Spacenet and Harris Corp. and three other suppliers.
UPI operates news wires serving print and broadcast subscribers. The company also has a photo service and radio networks operating in both English and Spanish.
