 LISTS TOP 25 BOOKS OF 1991
 BOSTON, Feb. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- The top 25 children's books of 1991 is the feature article in the Boston Globe's Winter '92 issue of The Young Reader, the paper's newsletter about children and reading.
 Written by the Globe's Children's book editor Stephanie Loer, The Young Reader, is offered free as a public service by the Globe with the submission of a stamped, addressed envelope.
 The top 25 books were chosen by Ms. Loer and are listed in three categories: picturebooks/younger readers, middle readers, and older readers.
 Also in the winter '92 issue: an interview with children's book author Stephen Krensky and recommendations on new releases.
 The six page quarterly newsletter, useful for parents, teachers, and children's librarians, contains a variety of topics on children and reading. The Children's Book Council, a non-profit national association, has recognized the newsletter for its contribution to children and reading.
