WIN ... a spooky night out with Coventry's ghosts.
The event follows the success of popular TV programme Most Haunted, and this will be Paranormal Tours second visit to the city location.
The Hampshire-based organisation specialises in hosting ghost hunts in well-known haunted locations throughout the UK and uses experienced investigators to examine strange and unexplained goingson at many of the country's famous haunted properties.

Although staying awake until 5am may sound difficult, with a full programme of activities, and the potential for ghostly experiences, there is unlikely to be a dull moment."
During the event, participants are given an introductory workshop and training in the equipment they will use for conducting experiments including meters to measure changes in frequency, thermometers, motion detectors, and devices to record 'electronic voice phenomena like ghostly sounds.
All ghosthunters are invited to bring their own digital cameras and night vision equipment to assist them.
In addition to the scientific equipment, the group will be able to speak to a local historian to gain factual information about the property's past, plus utilise the services of an experienced medium to communicate with any presence they detect.
question to Kerry explains: "To maintain objectivity, the medium that will be joining the event has never visited St Mary's Guildhall before. Also, they will not be told to which property they are going to ensure advance research can not be carried out which could prejudice the investigation."

apply. Full and rules request. St Mary's Guildhall was built in the 1340s and is one of the finest medieval guildhalls in the country, having stood at the centre of Coventry for more than 650 years.
The presence of monks have been felt in the undercroft and a tall thin man, dressed in Elizabethan apparel, has been spotted near the cloisters area. A ghostly figure dressed in hooded attire has also been photographed at a formal function, though there was no one there dressed like that.
