 WILSON NAMED PRESIDENT OF SHELL CANADA
 HOUSTON, Texas, Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Charles W. Wilson,


executive vice president products for Shell Oil Company since 1988 and a director of the company since 1990, has been named president and chief executive officer of Shell Canada, Ltd., effective Feb. 1, 1993.
 Wilson, 53, succeeds Jack M. MacLeod, who retires Jan. 31, 1993, after 38 years with the Calgary, Alberta-based Shell Canada, Ltd. MacLeod has been president and chief executive officer since 1985.
 Wilson joined Shell Oil in 1963 after receiving B.S. civil engineering and M.S. engineering degrees from the University of New Mexico. He held various engineering assignments, including a secondment to Shell Canada from 1965 to 1967 as a production department mechanical engineer. From 1974 to 1983, he held management positions in Shell Oil's exploration and production organization. After a Shell Oil assignment in London, he returned to Houston in 1985 as vice president, corporate planning. He became vice president, production in 1986, and vice president, refining and marketing, in 1987.
