WILSON NAMED COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT ACT DIRECTOR FOR HUNTINGTON BANCSHARES INCORPORATED

 COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Norman Wilson, senior vice president, was recently named director of Community Reinvestment for Huntington Bancshares Incorporated (NASDAQ: HBAN). Wilson will now oversee Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) programs companywide and will be instrumental in helping to implement Columbus' community development initiatives by working with Ricardo Wright, assistant vice president and community reinvestment officer.
 Wilson holds a B.A. degree from Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Mich. and an M.B.A. from the Atlanta University Graduate School of Business.
 Before joining The Huntington, Wilson worked at the Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh in the areas of corporate and international finance. Wilson has been with The Huntington since 1990, serving in senior management positions in corporate areas of the organization. Most recently, he has worked in Huntington Capital Corporation - a capital marketing subsidiary of Huntington Bancshares Incorporated.
 Wilson, who resides in Dublin with his wife and three children, currently serves as treasurer of the Hannah Neil Center Foundation Board. He is also a member of the Columbus Metropolitan Club Marketing Committee.
