WILSHIRE TECHNOLOGIES INC. NAMES SIX CLINICIANS TO ITS WILSHIRE MEDICAL WOUND CARE ADVISORY BOARD

 Receives Approval to Begin Clinicals on a
 New Wound Care Product at University of California
 CARLSBAD, Calif., June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Wilshire Medical Products, a division of Wilshire Technologies Inc. (AMEX: WIL), today named six clinicians to its newly formed Wilshire Medical Wound Care Advisory Board and announced receipt of approval to begin clinicals on a new wound care product at the University of California, San Diego.
 The intent of the advisory board is to identify key areas of wound management that lack an effective wound care product. The board's primary means of identifying potential wound care products include the use of clinical studies, clinical feedback or round-robin discussions.
 The clinicians who have been named to the board include: Sharon Baronoski, R.N., a clinical wound specialist with Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet, Ill., and sponsor in charge of the Clinical Symposium on Pressure Ulcer and Wound Management; Diane Cooper, Ph.D., R.N., assistant professor of Surgery at the University of Texas, widely recognized in wound care and co-author of scientific publications on bacteriology and wound healing; Audrey Marchand, an R.N. at the A. Holly Patterson Geriatric Center in Uniondale, N.Y., and clinical specialist in the area of patient rehabilitation; Cathy Thomas Hess, an R.N. in Harrisburg, Pa., and leader in medical reimbursement of wound care services and products used in extended care facilities; Keith Gilding, Ph.D., managing director of Innovative Technologies in the United Kingdom; and John Hansbrough, M.D., the director of Regional Burn Center for the University of California, San Diego, and noted for his on-going work in the field of wound research, burn trauma and skin substitution. He has authored and co-authored numerous scientific papers concerning these matters.
 The first advisory board meeting will take place in San Antonio on July 9.
 The company also announced that it has been approved to begin clinical studies of its HydroDerm wound care product at the University of California, San Diego, and is seeking approval to conduct similar clinicals at the University of Texas in Galveston.
 Wilshire Technologies develops, manufactures and markets disposable products for medical and clean room use. It has focused on proprietary products that incorporate its engineered materials, acquired polyurethane and other technologies, and its expertise in materials fabrication.
