WILSHIRE MEDICAL PRODUCTS HIRES WOUND HEALING EXPERT AS MEDICAL/CLINICAL DIRECTOR

 CARLSBAD, Calif., May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Wilshire Medical Products, a subsidiary of Wilshire Technologies Inc. (AMEX: WIL) today announced the addition of Dr. Charles Gokoo, M.D., to its staff as medical/clinical director.
 John Keener, president of Wilshire Medical Products, stated, "Dr. Gokoo's knowledge of wound healing and dressings will be a valuable addition and asset to Wilshire as we broaden our exciting product lines, such as the DermAssist(TM) family of wound care products."
 Gokoo received his medical doctorate in June of 1980. After serving as a surgical assistant for six years, he has dedicated his skills and knowledge to wound healing as a research associate for Baxter Healthcare Corp. and as director of research for Vein Clinics of America. He has published several articles on wound healing and has given numerous presentations on the subject throughout the United States. His most recent publication is entitled "A Comparative Study of Wound Dressings on Full Thickness Wounds in Micropigs," Decubitus, The Journal of Skin Ulcers.
 Wilshire Technologies develops, manufactures and markets disposable products for medical and clean room use. It has focused on proprietary products that incorporate its engineered materials, acquired polyurethane and other technologies, and its expertise in materials fabrication.
