 WILLIS CORROON AMERICAS ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONS
 NASHVILLE, Tenn., Jan. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Willis Corroon Americas


has announced that Marnix L.K. Guillaume, president and chief executive officer of Willis Corroon International Corporation (WCIC), has been named chairman of that operation, and Claude F. Gallello, executive vice president, has been named managing director.
 Both Guillaume and Gallello will report to John N.W. Wooderson, chairman of Willis Corroon Americans, and will be based in New York. Guillaume's primary responsibility will include, in addition to production, management of all aspects of the non-U.S. operations of Willis Corroon Americas. Gallello's responsibilities will include managing international, including Japanese, resources in New York, Chicago, Nashville and San Francisco.
 Guillaume is a member of the European Board of Willis Corroon-Europe and of the Territorial Committee of Willis Corroon Group plc. He joined Corroon & Black International in 1980 as vice president. He has 23 years of international brokerage experience. He studied at the University of Ghent in Belgium; the Karl Eberhardt University in Tuebingen, Germany; and the Menendez Pelayo University in Spain. He holds a Certificate of Proficiency in Common Market Agricultural, Cultural, Social, Political and Economic Affairs from the College of Europe in Belgium.
 Gallello is a member of the Management Committee of Willis Corroon Japan, Ltd. and a member of the Willis Corroon Multinational Operating Group. Prior to joining Willis Corroon in 1990, he was senior vice president of international marketing at AI Global. Before that, he held key underwriting, marketing and profit center positions at American International Group in both New York and Chicago. He has 20 years of experience in international insurance, with particular emphasis in designing programs for U.S. and non-U.S. multinationals. Gallello held a bachelor's degree from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. He also has an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.
