WILLIAMS CONTROLS RECORDS HIGHEST EVER SINGLE-MONTH REVENUES
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Williams Controls, Inc. (NASDAQ: WMCO), said today that its unaudited October 1991 revenues were over $1.6 million, its highest ever sales total for a single month. In comparison, sales for the month of October 1990 were $1.2 million.
The company stated that the demand for its products, particularly the company's current model of its Electronic Foot Pedal Assembly (EFPA) product lines, are strong. The current sales backlog for the company's products is $2.9 million. The increase in EFPA sales is a result of increased use of electronic engines by bus and truck manufacturers, which the company expects to increase in the future as a result of certain changes in federal law regulating emission control standards for the bus and truck industries.
Williams Controls, Inc., manufactures and sells a wide range of pneumatic, electronic and hydraulic controls for the truck, bus, mining, construction and refuse collection markets. Its product lines include approximately 250 different pneumatic products as well as specialized electronic and hydraulic products which are sold nationwide and in foreign countries.
