 WILLIAMS CONTROLS ANNOUNCES SETTLEMENT OF DANA CORP. EFPA LITIGATION
 PORTLAND, Ore., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Williams Controls Inc. (NASDAQ: WMCO) announced today that it has settled, effective Sept. 30, 1992, the pending litigation between Williams and the Dana Corp. (NYSE: DCN), which satisfactorily resolves the relative responsibilities for, and cost related to, the recall of Williams' line of electronic foot pedal assemblies which Williams had purchased from Dana in 1988. Williams will report a positive impact from this settlement in its financial statements for the fiscal year ended Sept. 30, 1992. Under the terms of the agreement between Williams and Dana, the details of the settlement are confidential.
