WILL CHANGES BE JUST THE TICKET?

Today we can reveal how thousands more people in Cardiff will be affected by plans to shake up the city's parking.

As reported yesterday, the council plans to introduce charges in many areas. It also aims to ensure that spaces in shopping areas taken by commuters are freed up, and more residents' bays are created.

The Cardiff Bay proposals will be at County Hall from Monday to April 7, (8am-8pm). Staff will be in attendance between 10am and 9pm from Tuesday, March 21, to Thursday, March 23.

For Canton and Riverside, the exhibition takes place at Canton Library, Library Street, during normal opening hours from Monday until April 7, with staff present from 10am to 9pm, from March 28 to March 30.

For Albany Road and City Road the proposals will be on display at Penylan Library during normal opening hours between Monday, March 20, and April 28. Staff will be present between 10am and 9pm from April 4 to April 6.

For the Cathays Terrace, Crwys Road, Woodville Road and Whitchurch Road areas, there will be an exhibition in the canteen area at Maindy swimming pool between March 20 and April 28. Staff will be in attendance between 10am and 9pm from Tuesday, April 4 to Thursday, April 6. WHAT THE ENTRIES MEAN: 'Exclusive Residents' The street includes spaces only usable by residents with permits from Monday to Sunday, 8am to 10pm.

'Shared Residents (all day) and Short-Term Pay and Display' The street includes spaces usable by residents, and those with pay and display vouchers for a maximum of three hours, from Monday to Sunday, 8am to 10pm.

'Shared Residents and Long-Term Pay and Display' The street includes spaces usable by residents, and those with pay and display vouchers for all day, from Monday to Sunday, 8am to 10pm.

'Exclusive Long-Term Pay and Display' The street contains spaces usable only by those with pay and display vouchers all day, from Monday to Sunday, 8am to 10pm.

'Exclusive Short-Term Pay and Display' The street contains spaces usable only by those with pay and display vouchers for a maximum of three hours, from Monday to Sunday, 8am to 10pm.
