WILBURGER'S AND SOMERTON SPRINGS CELEBRATE TRIPLE GRAND OPENING WITH SKI JACKET TRADE-IN TO BENEFIT PROJECT H.O.M.E.

ABINGTON, Pa., Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Wilburger's Ski Shops, Pennsylvania's first ski shop, and Somerton Springs, the state's largest golf retailer, will celebrate a triple grand opening of a joint venture which houses both businesses under one roof.
Three joint locations will officially open the weekend of Nov. 13 and 14. The new locations will be at 53 Bustleton Pike in Feasterville, Pa.; the Lionville Shopping Center, Route 113 and Eagleview Boulevard in Lionville, Pa.; and the Gateway Shopping Center, 171 E. Swedesford Road in Wayne, Pa.
To mark the unique joint venture, Wilburger's and Somerton Springs will kick off a ski jacket trade-in to benefit Project H.O.M.E. Customers are invited to trade in their old ski jackets between now and Christmas to receive a 10 percent discount toward the purchase of a brand new ski jacket. Jackets for trade-in must be in good condition, and be dropped off at any of Wilburger's seven locations, including the new sites as well as Wilburger's in Abington, Bryn Mawr, Montgomeryville and Wilmington.
All ski jackets traded in will be donated to Project H.O.M.E., an organization that provides residential facilities, health care, education, employment and counseling for chronically homeless people in Philadelphia. The mission of Project H.O.M.E. is to create a stable and secure environment from which the homeless can move toward regaining independent living.
Wilburger's Ski Shops and Somerton Springs are making a giant step forward in the sporting goods industry with their innovative partnership. Each company will continue to operate individually and remain financially independent. By sharing common space in select locations, each will be able to provide the best in ski and golf products at a better value because of reduced overhead. Customers will be treated to top value and service expertise for their sporting goods needs.
