WICAT TO PROVIDE DELIVERY SYSTEM FOR NAVAL RESERVE
A-6E CARRIER BASED ATTACK AIRCRAFT TRAINING
OREM, Utah, July 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Wicat Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: WCAT) announced today that they will be providing hardware for the training system of the A-6E carrier based attack aircraft. The contract is valued at approximately $160,000.
The training will cover A-6E air crew training for the Naval Reserve bases at both Naval Air Station, Atlanta and Naval Air Station, Alemeda, Calif. Prior to this contract Wicat had provided a similar delivery system for A-6E computer-based training at active duty bases at Naval Air Station, Oceana, Va. and Naval Air Station, Whidbey Island, Wash.
"Wicat was selected because of their long term involvement with the A-6E training development and their solid reputation for aviation training," stated Bill Coble, program manager, aviation training systems, Commander Naval Air Reserve Forces (COMNAVAIRESFOR). "The actual A-6E courseware was developed by CAE-Link Corporation using Wicat's software development tools, so it makes a great deal of sense that Wicat would provide the hardware for optimal delivery of the courseware."
Wicat Systems is a world leader in technology-based training and education, providing products and services to significantly improve learning in industry and schools, Wicat Stock is traded in the NASDAQ market under the symbol WCAT.
