 WHO HAS THE BEEF RECIPE OF THE '90s?
 FIND OUT AT THE GEORGIA BEEF COOK-OFF
 WHAT: Five finalists from around the state will create
 special beef recipes in competition for the honor
 of representing Georgia at the National Beef
 Cook-Off(R).
 WHO: The five finalists are from the following areas:
 -- Augusta, "Hot & Hearty Beef Bean Soup"
 -- Carrollton, "Peppy Steak and Potato Toss"
 -- Columbus, "Quincentennial Beef"
 -- Rome, "Lite and Easy Orange Peppercorn"
 -- Tucker, "Maggie's Magic Beef"
 WHEN: Friday, June 19
 -- 9 a.m. - Cooking begins
 -- 10:30 a.m. - Judging begins
 -- 12:30 p.m. - Winner announced
 WHERE: Georgia Power Co. Energy Planning Center
 45 Technology Park

 Directions: From downtown Atlanta, take I-85 N to
 I-285 W. Exit north on Peachtree Industrial Blvd.
 Travel five miles north on Peachtree Industrial
 staying in the right lane until you pass the
 Peachtree Corners Hilton on the left. Move to the
 left lane and turn left at the second entrance into
 Technology Park. The Energy Planning Center is
 Bldg. 45, the third building on the left.
 The competition is sponsored by the Georgia CattleWomen's Association, the Georgia Beef Board and Georgia Power. The state winner will represent Georgia in the National Beef Cook-Off(R), Sept. 17-19, in Sacramento, Calif.
