WHITES NEED A STRONG WILL.
Leeds v Birmingham Championship: 3pm
WILL BUCKLEY is vowing to help Leeds achieve their Premier League dream after escaping his Sunderland nightmare.
It is 11 painful years since the Whites surrendered their proud top-flight status, but Buckley insists he can help them end their agonising exile.
And he aims to seal a permanent switch to Elland Road after being cold-shouldered by Black Cats boss Dick Advocaat at the Stadium of Light.
Buckley, 25, went to Wearside in a PS2.5m switch from Brighton 14 months ago. But after sacked former Seagulls chief Gus Poyet was replaced by Advocaat, the winger GOT just one first-team start.
Hired on loan for three months with a view to completing a full-time PS1m move in the January transfer window, Buckley is primed for an instant United debut at home to Birmingham this afternoon.
Former Watford ace Buckley declared: "I have only been training with the Leeds lads this week, but it's clear that getting back to the Premier League is what everyone at the club wants. It's what I want, too. This is a massive club with a good manager."
