WESTINGHOUSE-ENGINEERED POLICE CAR ON DISPLAY IN CONCORD, CALIF.
 The high-technology police car of the future, engineered by Westinghouse Electric Corp., will be on display this week at the California Police Chiefs' Association Conference in Concord, Calif. Equipped with a satellite-based vehicle location system, advanced communication links to police dispatchers and criminal databanks, and other leading-edge vehicle electronics, the Westinghouse system is designed to dramatically increase the safety and efficiency of police officers in the field.
 Westinghouse personnel will brief media representatives and demonstrate the vehicle's capabilities at the Concord Hilton on Wednesday, Feb. 5, at 2:30 p.m.
 Westinghouse is showing its vehicle electronics package to police departments across the United States aboard a prototype demonstration vehicle. In addition to the advanced vehicle package, the Westinghouse approach includes a computerized dispatch system (also on display) that will optimize the links between police headquarters and officers in the field.
