WENDY WILLIAMS TO UNVEIL FIRST-EVER TRADING CARD
 HONORING U.S. OLYMPIC HOPEFULS
Wendy Lian Williams, a candidate for a medal in diving at the Olympic Summer Games in Barcelona, will help unveil the first-ever trading cards honoring the U.S. Olympic Hopefuls on Saturday, Feb. 15, 1992, in Hawaii.
Williams, a Bronze Medalist in the 1988 Olympic Games, will sign a life-size, mock-up of the card at a luncheon meeting of the trading card industry manufacturers and representatives at 12:00 on Saturday, Feb. 15, immediately following the General Business and Panel Discussions at the Ilikai Hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The U.S. Olympic Hopefuls card series is being produced by Impel Marketing Inc., the exclusive licensee of the U.S. Olympic Committee. In addition to Williams, other athletes featured in the series will include Dan O'Brien and Jackie Joyner-Kersee.
Impel Marketing Inc., founded in 1989, is already the nation's second largest producer of trading cards. They released the Decathlon Gold Series in July, which is sold out. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the U.S. OLYMPICARDS goes to support the 1992 U.S. Olympic Team. For more information, contact Impel Marketing Inc., P.O.
