WELSH EMBARRASS EDDIE.

Byline: ALEX SPINK

ENGLAND were caught with their pants down by Wales and left red-faced when they tried to blame the ref.

They missed out on top spot in the rankings for the first time since 2004 by losing 13-6 to a side they beat six days earlier.

Boss Eddie Jones' then blasted ref Pascal Gauzere for allowing Wales to take the quick penalty that led to the game's only try despite there being no law against it.

Yet the Aussie coach still said: "World Rugby are like Big Brother, they've facial recognition everywhere, say one word and you're in trouble."
