 CHICAGO, Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Glove manufacturer Wells Lamont, a


Chicago-based division of Marmon Holdings, Inc., has filed a lawsuit in the Eastern District Court of California charging trademark and patent infringement, and unfair competition by California-based Trojan Glove Co.
 The complaint alleges Trojan Glove willfully and repeatedly infringed upon multiple Well Lamont trademarks, and upon a packaging patent. The complaint further charges Trojan with mislabeling imported gloves as "Made in the U.S.A.," and other acts of unfair competition.
 Wells Lamont was founded in 1907, and is recognized as the worldwide leader in gloves of all types -- work, ski, dress, casual, garden and action sports. The company has pioneered every major development in the glove industry and holds dozens of design and production patents, including the famous Grips pre-curved glove design. In addition, Wells Lamont produces the best known trademarked brand in every category, notably White Mule work gloves, Hob Nob chore gloves and Hotfingers ski gloves which are all marketed around the world.
