WELL BUZZ OFF THEN!

Byline: Stuart Maconie

I INTERVIEWED Jakob Dylan, son of Bob, this week. Nice guy too.

I was forewarned, however, that Jakob might not take kindly to endless questions about his old man. Fair enough. Jakob's a musician in his own right trying to ply his own trade.

As it was he was more than happy to chat a little about Dad.

But I still think that it was asking a lot of the journalists who were granted an interview with another American legend, astronaut Buzz Aldrin, when he was here promoting a book a couple of years ago.

The reason we know Buzz Aldrin's name, the reason he's a legend, and the reason he had a book out was that Buzz was the second man on the moon. "You can ask him about anything you like" we were told. "But he doesn't want to talk about the moon landing."
