GOOD STEED TURNS SOURAn Illinois man was questioned by police who found him dragging a dead horse around with a rope tied to the back of his pick-up truck.
Louis DePaepe of Taylorville claimed he was only doing a good deed. ``My wife told me the neighbour's horse had died and was beginning to deteriorate. It was our intent to haul it to the landfill,'' he said. No arrests were made.
TWENTY-FOUR FOOT GIRL KIDNAP
A 24ft tall model of a blonde bombshell in a yellow bikini has been kidnapped in upstate New York. The model had graced a billboard promoting two adult clubs near the town of Chenango. It teased ``Wanna Play?'' and promised ``Heaven on Route 11''.
Police said the sign, worth more than pounds 350, was unpopular with local residents.
NEIGHBOURLY BODY OF EVIDENCE
A Massachusetts man was arrested after neighbours saw hi m pulling a rubbish bin full of body parts into his apartment, police said.
Shirley Folsom, who lives upstairs, stated ``I saw the toes, the foot, and part of the leg.''
