WEEKEND: FOOD: Celebrity chef's seasonal fusion of flavours.

CELEBRITY chef Anthony Worral Thompson (left) has teamed up with Nescafe Frapp and come up with some tips on summer entertaining.

He says: "Summer is one of my favourite times of year and an al-fresco menu need not be over complicated. In fact, simple, colourful and fresh food usually works best.

"Caesar salads with their crisp texture and fresh colours are perfect, light meals.

"Marinated chicken is another summer sizzler and kebabs are always popular with guests. Why not try them with a twist by including feta cheese on the skewer."

"Other tops tips for kebabs include always soaking the skewer in water before putting them under the grill to ensure they do not burn and always sweat onions in a light pan before using them as part of a kebab - the flavour of uncooked onions is too intense and tends to take over the fusion of flavours."

BRING a taste of cosmopolitan cafe culture to your summer soirees with new Nescafe Frapp a refreshing ice-cold coffee drink.

Take a long-stem glass, add the contents of a Nescape Frapp sachet and briskly stir in some cold milk, top with crushed ice.
