 WEEBOK LAUNCHES CHILDREN'S CATALOG WITH THE RIGHT START;
 EXPANDS NATIONAL PRESENCE WITH MAIL-ORDER DISTRIBUTION
 STOUGHTON, Mass., Aug. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Weebok, a division of Reebok International Ltd. (NYSE: RBK), and The Right Start Inc. (NASDAQ: RTST) have teamed up to launch an exclusive Weebok children's catalog featuring the company's complete line of infant and toddler apparel, footwear and accessories. The new Weebok catalog (which will be launched independent of the Right Start's existing juvenile products catalog) reflects a unique venture between the catalog marketer and one of America's mainstream children's retail brands. It also represents the first time that a Reebok division has considered an exclusive mail-order partnership.
 According to Weebok Vice President Nancy Babine-Kucinski and The Right Start President Stan Fridstein, the marriage couldn't be more perfect.
 "Both Weebok and The Right Start are dedicated to the infant and toddler market and share the same fundamental philosophy," says Babine-Kucinski. "We're about innovative, contemporary products that enhance child development and make parenting more enjoyable. It's what consumers have come to expect from both of us."
 Fridstein is equally pleased. "Weebok's big-thinking philosophy and commitment to quality is shared by all of us. Together, we hope to expand our buyer universe and enjoy many fruitful years."
 The new catalog will be mailed nationally during the first quarter 1993 and complement Weebok's existing distribution in upscale department and specialty stores as well as children's booteries, athletic specialty and juvenile products stores nationwide.
 "Actually, our partnership with The Right Start is not new," notes Babine-Kucinski. "In fact, the catalog was a natural next step after the tremendous success we enjoyed running our diaper bags in the Right Start's catalog during the past six months."
 While Weebok is a fairly new brand, Babine-Kucinski says the apparel and footwear collections have been well received at retail since the head-to-toe concept was launched last September. "As our collections grow each season, we want to offer consumers a place where they can find all Weebok products under one roof," she says. "It's part of our big thinking philosophy to offer a great-looking brand that's functional, versatile, affordable and accessible."
 Based in Stoughton, Weebok is a division of Reebok International Ltd. and manufactures high-quality children's products for infants and toddlers, newborn to four years old.
 Based in Westlake Village, Calif., and founded in 1985, The Right Start Inc. is a leading national juvenile products catalog company offering merchandise for infants and toddlers up to age four. The company completed its initial public offering in October 1991. Fiscal year 1992 revenues were $27.4 million.
