WEE MOORE BACK IN BUSINESS AT HQ; Ryan blasts off on Spatial.

Byline: Joseph Reilly

QUIET MAN Ryan Moore made the best possible comeback at Newmarket yesterday with an impressive win on upwardly mobile filly Spatial.

The former champion has been absent for the past threeweeks due to injury and enjoyed a straight forward return when booting home Sir Michael Stoute's 4-6 favourite in the maiden.

That was Moore's only ride of the day but he resumes this evening at Windsor with the classy Ulysses in the feature Winter Hill top of his agenda.

Moore said: "It's nice to come back at Newmarket, it's just down the road to have an easy day and she's a nice filly.

"It's disappointing being injured but it's part of the sport. It happens to plenty of people and will happen again so you just deal with it and I've got good people around me. It's nice to be back for the end of the year.

"It was the sensible thing to stop. It was disappointing to miss York but I wanted to be back for the Irish Champions weekend.

"I'll be taking things fairly sensibly for the time being. It's nice to have a shot at the Title but there's more important things; it's not on my list of priorities."

Paddy Power reacted by pushing Moore out to 12-1 from 10s for the Flat Jockey's Championship.
