Modern Times: Secret Life of Cleaners BBC Two, 9.30pm In Britain today, more than six million people employ domestic help in the form of cleaners - a job primarily done by the many immigrants arriving in the UK looking for work. With access to workers and their employers, this documentary lifts the lid on what the British public's cleaners really think about them, and also tells the story of an invisible class struggling to earn a living and make a life in the UK.

The Job Centre Channel 4, 10pm The agency faces a crisis as four temp workers fail to turn up to work for one of their biggest clients, meaning the contract is hanging in the balance. To make matters worse, Phil is off sick, leaving Jane and the rest of the team to pick up the pieces. Carlos has also been let down by one of his workers and is under pressure to fill the role quickly, and hopes the client will be happy with their latest recruit. Meanwhile, boss Jane Vincent launches a charm offensive as she tries to win back business she lost 10 years ago.
