WE LOVE DOCUMENTARY.
If Japan (current population 120 million) is genuinely worried about falling numbers, perhaps they could throw open their doors to some of the millions of refugees desperately seeking a new home. Just saying.
But in her investigation film for This World Anita Rani, below, doesn't suggest either of those possibilities, but instead asks why so many Japanese men and women have become so ambivalent about sex, love, marriage and even relationships.
This turns out to be a much weirder and more interesting question than the economic implications of an ageing population.
