WE'RE ON OUR WAY; Sara jets to USA as your fund tops pounds 403,000.

Byline: By Lori Campbell

LITTLE Sara Thackray is on her way to America for life-saving treatment - and it's all thanks to our readers. Yesterday leukaemia sufferer Sara, aged3, was given the go-ahead to fly to a pioneering clinic in a last-ditch bid to beat the disease.

At the same time your donations to our appeal for her topped the pounds 400,000 target.

Her dad Grant said: 'I want to say thank you to the Record readers from the bottom of our hearts.'
