WCI Danbury project will have something for everyone.

WCI Communities will soon break ground on the Rivington, a new residential village consisting of three distinct neighborhoods on the 321-acre former Union Carbide corporate campus in Danbury, Conn.

It is one of the largest master-planned communities in the region.

Rivington will be a traditional neighborhood design community with approximately 1,200 homes, priced from the $300,000s to the $700,000s, including a variety of town homes and midrise condominium residences in three distinct neighborhoods, each with its own amenities and unique character for a variety of lifestyles.

The Hills, Rivington's first neighborhood, will consist of town home designs ranging from 1,500 to 2,725 s/f, along with a variety of mid-rise condominium residence styles from 1,190 to 1,549 s/ f. The neighborhood will have an outdoor swimming pool and cabana with indoor showers, as well as a tot lot for children to play while residents mingle with neighbors as they soak up the sun. The neighborhood is ideal for first-time home buyers, young families and empty nesters looking to downsize to a more easily managed home.

Upon arriving at Rivington's grand entrance residents and guests will be welcomed by the impressive clock tower. The Village neighborhood at Rivington will consist of a variety of Federal style town homes, several midrise condominium residence designs and lofts located over retail space. The Village will also feature a meeting house with a state-of-the-art fitness center with locker rooms, showers, sauna, steam and massage rooms; a gymnasium, a multi-purpose room, children's study room and more. The Village will also include a community pool and tennis center, which will include a heated outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool spa and tennis courts.

In the heart of The Village will be The Madison, an elegant condominium residence that will feature its own luxurious amenities and unique home designs. The amenities at The Madison will include concierge services, a fitness center with spa appointments, screening room, lounge, billiards, card rooms and more. It will be ideal for affluent empty nesters and professionals.

The Village Center will also boast stores, cafes and restaurants where neighbors will be able to enjoy spending time together.

The Encore neighborhood at Rivington is for those 55 and older. This gated, maintenance-free neighborhood will feature townhome and mid-rise condominium home designs, and country club amenities such as a club house with fitness center, lounge, billiards, card rooms, arts and crafts studio, grand ballroom, concierge and lifestyle coordinator, outdoor heated pool and spa, bocce and shuffleboard and a putting green.

Gabe Pasquale, vice president and chief marketing officer of WCI Communities' Northeast U.S. region, said, "We are thrilled at the opportunity to finally turn this breathtaking property along Connecticut's border with suburban New York into a vibrant, thriving community for every generation and lifestyle. Rivington will be much more than a residential neighborhood. With exclusive amenities, recreational facilities, restaurants, stores and cafes, all located within walking distance of the spectacular homes, this will be 'The New American Village.' There is nothing else like it in this region."

WCI Communities plans to open Rivington's Sales & Information Center in early 2006.
