WATER POINT SYSTEMS INC. ENTERS SOUTH FLORIDA MARKET WITH ITS CANADA DRY WATER VENDING MACHINES

FORT WORTH, Texas, Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Water Point Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: WPTS) announced today that it is expanding its Canada Dry(R) water vending program to the South Florida market. Installation of these machines began in December 1993. The 40 initial placements are located around the central and south-central Miami area. Water Point Systems Inc. will continue expansion into other major Florida cities. Bill Rice, Vice President of the Vended Water Systems Division, explained, "We are very excited to enter the Florida market and are looking forward to profitable expansion throughout the state. This will add to the success we have already achieved in the south- central United States."
The company's Vended Water Systems Division places computerized water vending machines primarily outside retail establishments. The water vending machines display the Canada Dry trademark, which is licensed to Water Point Systems Inc. on an exclusive basis by Cadbury Beverages, Inc., a division of Cadbury Schweppes PLC (NASDAQ-NMS: CADBY) for use on or with water vending machines in the United States and its territories.
