WARRIOR LUKE.

Byline: TOM HOPKINSON

ANTHONY CROLLA hailed Luke Campbell's bravery after the Hull star fought Jorge Linares two weeks after his father lost his battle with cancer.

Campbell, who lost on points, did not reveal news of his father Bernard's death until after his clash with WBA lightweight champion Linares in California.

And Crolla (right), who has twice faced Linares and who takes on Ricky Burns at Manchester Arena on Saturday, said: "It was unbelievable what Luke had gone through and he showed unbelievable bravery.

"Linares won the fight by about three rounds but Luke showed he deserved to be at that level. If I win against Burns I'll be back in world title contention.

"Luke is a possibility in the future."
