WARD'S REPORTS ESTIMATED PRODUCTION

 DETROIT, July 22 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. car and truck manufacturers will produce an estimated 120,198 vehicles this week, Ward's Automotive Reports announced today.
 This week's estimated output is 2.8 percent below the actual 123,602 vehicles built last week, but 8.3 percent above same-week 1992's 110,971, Ward's said.
 Additionally, 30 U.S. car and truck assembly facilities are closed this week for summer vacation or model changeover -- including all General Motors Corp. plants.
 Calendar-year 1993 U.S. vehicle production through the end of this week numbered an estimated 6,128,436 units, 12.9 percent ahead of like- 1992, Wards said.
 Of the cars and trucks slated for production this week in the United States, Ford Motor Co. accounts for 61.2 percent; Nissan Motor Mfg. Corp., 6.5 percent; Honda of America Mfg. Inc., 6.5 percent; Chrysler Corp., 5.7 percent; New United Motor Mfg. Inc., 5.5 percent; Toyota Motor Mfg. USA Inc., 3.9 percent; AutoAlliance International Inc., 3.2 percent; Diamond-Star Motors Corp., 2.3 percent; Subaru-Isuzu Automotive Inc., 2.0 percent; Navistar International Transportation Corp., 1.1 percent; GM accounts for 0.0 percent; and other truck manufacturers, 2.1 percent.
