 WARD'S REPORTS ESTIMATED PRODUCTION
 DETROIT, Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. vehicle producers will


assemble an estimated 223,162 cars and trucks this week, Ward's Automotive Reports announced today.
 This week's scheduled build represents a 1.9-percent decrease from last week's actual production of 227,506, but is 5.1 percent above same- week 1991's 216,433, Ward's said.
 Four regularly active U.S. vehicle assembly plants are closed this week to reduce inventories, the weekly newsletter reported.
 Calendar year 1992 U.S. output through the end of this week stands at an estimated 8,088,191, 7.9 percent above like-1991's 7,496,081, added Ward's.
 Of the cars slated for production this week in the United States, General Motors Corp. accounts for 44.6 percent; Ford Motor Co., 23.6 percent; Chrysler Corp., 7.0 percent; Honda of America Mfg. Inc., 6.9 percent; Nissan Motor Mfg. Corp., 4.2 percent; AutoAlliance International Inc., 4.0 percent; Toyota Motor Mfg. USA Inc., 4.0 percent; New United Motor Mfg. Inc., 3.0 percent; Diamond-Star Motors Corp., 1.8 percent; and Subaru-Isuzu Automotive Inc., 0.9 percent.
